Report - Top and Bottom Sellers

This report allows the user to display the top or bottom specified number of selling lines by value or quantity for a given time period. The default selling price (inclusive of vat) can be specified as a price range and a branch can be specified to narrow down on desired results.

The Estimated Time to Load Report depends on the criteria selected. It is calculated by using the time that was taken upon loading the report previously in accordance to the criteria selected. The time lapsed gives the user a timer when the report is loading.

Below is an example of a report printed for the top 10 sellers by quantity for all branches between 2012-01-01 and 2012-07-27 using a default price range between £10 and £100:

Below the graph are the details of these products including:

  • Description – style description
  • Total Quantity – total quantity sold within the specified criteria
  • Sales Value Ex Vat – Totals of the items actual sell price, i.e. after any discounts or price changes have been applied, added together (exclusive of VAT)
  • Sales Value Inc Vat – Totals of the items actual sell price, i.e. after any discounts or price changes have been applied, added together (inclusive of VAT)
  • Current Stock – current live stock figure

These details are sorted by total quantity descending.

If the report is shown by value rather than by quantity the report has a similar layout, however the graph and the data detailed below is organised by sales value including vat instead of quantity.
