Customer Details Not Being Added To A Transaction

Symptom - The customer search works fine, giving a list of results. However, when a customer is selected from the list they are not added to the transaction and no error message is displayed.
Cause - The firewall on the webserver machine is blocking the "IIS Worker Process" application (C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\INETSRV\W3WP.EXE). This means that any webservice which requires access to a local resource such as another webservice locally or a local component is being blocked. In this instance, the Customers Web Service communicates with the Contacts Web Service, which is done locally.
Solution - Configure the firewall on the webserver machine to allow the IIS Worker Process. E.G in McAfee, Open the console, Select the Application List, and change IIS Worker Process from Blocked to Allow.

NOTES
This is caused by the settings being configured incorrectly, it is not an issue with the software.
